As promised, the makers of '777 Charlie' have come out with the "reveal" that everyone had been waiting for. On the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami, the team took to social media to announce that the film will be releasing in theatres on the 10th of June, 2022.
Rakshit Shetty and the entire team of '777 Charlie', including many distributors of the film, shared the exciting news of the release through a special poster.
The release date announcement comes as a much-needed respite for all the Rakshit Shetty fans who had been keenly waiting to watch the film on the big screen. As many would already be aware that '777 Charlie' was slated to release on the 31st of December (2021) but the makers chose to delay the release further due to a number of factors.
"While we were ready to bring the film out on the 31st of December, the onset of the third wave of the pandemic was too big a threat to ignore. Even team 'RRR' had to defer the release until March and you see that it's been paid off really well. June 10th, on the other hand, gives us that free run at the box office that a pan-India film would need. We have 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' coming out in April and 'Vikrant Rona in July so this particular date fits ideal for us. Also, we had to make sure that the film gets due justice in all the other languages as well - Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi - and with no other big film coming out in any of these languages around June 10th, things aligned quite well in that regard," shares director Kiranraj K.
'777 Charlie' has been produced by Rakshit Shetty under his home banner of Paramvah Studios. The film also stars Sangeetha Sringeri,
Danish Sait,
Raj B. Shetty,
Bobby Simha, and others.
